Chances are if you’re looking at this page you are either lost on the internet while looking for some red sauce to put on a nice piece of chicken; or you are one of the totally awesome viewers from my stream. If you were hoping for the sauce I hate to tell you but you are in the wrong place. Since I’m such a nice guy though I’ll still help you out. I’ve heard mumbo sauce is amazing on ribs or chicken. Now that that is out of the way we can focus on the good stuff.
Who are you and why should I care?
I thought it would be obvious, but I am Mumbo. How’s that old saying go again…I kick ass and chew bubblegum. I’ve spent more of my life playing games than I should probably admit, and since the release of Twitch a few years ago have been streaming my gaming as a way to meet other amazing people. There isn’t a genre of games that I don’t enjoy, which on the plus side means that we all get to experience an extremely wide variety of games. My wallet probably isn’t as happy about that, but until it learns to talk what it thinks doesn’t really matter.
For the more hardcore people out there, I also have been playing FPS games competitively since Quake 3. I’ve played all kinds of shooters competitively from Quake 3 and Counter-Strike to more recent games like Team Fortress 2 and Ghost Recon: Phantoms. I’ve also spent time playing more obscure games like Wulfram 2.
What is mumbology.com anyway?
This site was created with the goal of providing people more access to whatever I happen to find interesting at that time. When streaming it is sometimes difficult to go into details about specific topics and it can also be frustrating for viewers who come later in the stream and don’t understand what’s happening. Lucky for all of us that this site exists now so that I have time to put the proper thought into very important topics and all you lucky viewers will never have to miss anything again.
The other thing that happens a lot is that I play a very wide variety of games. I am constantly getting asked about what I thought of this game? Or how does that game compare to this new one? Here people can easily come to find my impressions about various games I play, what I thought was good, what wasn’t so good, and other information that will be helpful.
You keep mentioning a stream. What’s that?
The stream is where everyone can go to hang out, check out a game they maybe haven’t seen before or watch the more competitive side shine through in scrims and matches. Do you like laughing at people as they fail horribly and games and rage into their monitor? Maybe chilling out with some amazing people while seeing if a game is something you might like to play is more your style.
